Four-Week Coaching for Growth
This experiential programme combines positive psychology with structured peer coaching practice. Participants develop both competence and confidence while working toward a personal or professional goal.
Setting Meaningful Direction
Participants identify a personal or professional goal and begin practising coaching around the Goal stage. We explore:
- What coaching is — and is not
- The coaching mindset: curiosity over judgement
- Active listening and powerful questioning
- Introduction to the GROW model Each participant is supported in clarifying their own goal, which becomes the focus for ongoing practice and coaching.
Strengths-Based Awareness
Expanding awareness, we introduce key positive psychology concepts:
- Identifying strengths and resources
- Recognising what is already working
- Understanding cognitive biases, including negativity bias Peer coaching expands to include Goal + Reality, helping participants build insight and self-agency.
Expanding Thinking & Building Hope
We explore how to create multiple pathways to success:
- Reframing limiting beliefs
- Using hope theory: pathways and agency thinking
- Cultivating optimism as a learnable skill Peer coaching focuses on possibility thinking, generating creative, forward-focused solutions while applying theory to participants’ individual goals.
Commitment, Resilience & Integration
Participants practise the full GROW model, coaching themselves and others toward their chosen goals. The focus includes:
- Commitment and accountability
- Anticipating obstacles and planning for them
- Strengthening resilience strategies
- Applying self-compassion as psychological support
The Choice Within Change
This two-hour session supports participants in navigating uncertainty with resilience, clarity and intentional action.

- Identify personal values under pressure
- Cultivate hope and grounded focus
This is not about forced optimism — it is about being real, resourceful and ready for what comes next.
A Four-Part Positive Psychology Series
In this interactive series, we explore how positive psychology — the science of optimal human functioning — can help people build greater happiness, emotional wellbeing and resilience in everyday life.
Each session combines research with practical tools to develop a growth mindset, strengthen motivation and support meaningful personal growth.
We will explore ways to enhance:
- Positive emotions — noticing and amplifying what feels good
- Engagement — fully participating in meaningful activities
- Relationships — cultivating connection, support, and empathy
- Meaning — aligning actions with personal values
- Accomplishment — recognising and building on successes
