What is Positive Psychology?

Positive psychology is the study of optimal human functioning.

It focuses on identifying, exploring and amplifying a strong sense of passion, purpose and performance in individuals, teams and organisations.

It takes a strengths- based approach which inspires the ultimate self- mastery through a journey which explores psychological flexibility, emotional agility and resilience.

It’s an engaging, enlightening and empowering branch of psychology, backed by research and packed with practical exercises to bring the science to life.

How is it delivered?

All our work is customised to meet the specific needs of our clients. It can be delivered in a number of ways, ranging from in- person workshops or motivational talks, to day- long or weekend retreats and to online/ telephone coaching. At times a combination of the above may be the most powerful solution to deeply embed positive psychology and catalyse lasting change.

Who do we work with?

Who am I?

I’m Lisa Avery– a Positive Psychologist who holds a postgraduate certificate, diploma and master’s degree in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. I’m a passionate, energetic and empathic individual, for whom human potential, people empowerment and mental wellbeing is a vocation.

I frequently collaborate with a number of amazing associates when carrying out work on a larger scale.
