What is coaching?
Coaching is a powerful way to enhance an individual’s self- awareness, self- confidence and success. It works well for two specific types of people:
- Those who have experienced- or are about to experience- significant change in their lives (the end of studies, a loss of job, a separation and so forth)
- Those who would like to bring about significant positive change in their life, perhaps feeling they are ‘stuck in a rut’ and living a life in which they are not achieving their full potential. This state may be characterised by low self- esteem, boredom, anxiety, frustration and a general sense of wanting more from life.
In either of these cases, regaining a rock solid sense of identity is key.
Coaching consists of taking a client on a deep, exciting and introspective journey- a journey which will typically ask the following three questions:
- Who am I at my best? (my strengths, talents, values and passions)
- Where am I going? (my personal vision and specific goals to reach that)
- How am I going to get there? (boosting my hope, efficacy, resilience and optimism)
I work with adults of any age and teenagers from age 13 onwards.
